COMPETITIONS
We extend an invitation to your club to travel to Cernusco and participate in the Cernusco Rugby 7′s Tournament. Our event, the only of its kind in Europe to mix fun and Rugby in equal measure, will be held over the June 8th/10th weekend. We would greatly appreciate your Club’s participation in the Tournament, to join others with a similar enthusiasm and social attitude in a display of attractive and skilful rugby in a great international setting.

Trophies and awards in each competition include: Cup, Plate and Bowl competitions, Highest Scoring Team, Best Defending Team, Player of the Tournament and most important of all the Cassie Pieenar Trophy, which is awarded Best Drinking Team.
Typical Agenda for the Weekend
Friday It’s a fun day with the chance to meet other teams at the bar and warm-up for the week-end. Teams arriving early can show their capabilities (in whichever field of expertise you choose) as well as warming up their engines at the bar. The bar is open from early afternoon with music and fun, there will be food available from 11am onwards. Around 10pm a DJ set or live gigs are normally displayed in the Fun Area. Saturday Rugby – At 8.30 am (and that’s sharp, we have many matches to schedule across the week-end) the first pool games are played. Play ends around 8.00pm. Fun and main party – The bar is open all day with music and fun all day , and there will be food available from 10am onwards. Around 10pm a DJ set or live gigs are normally displayed in the Fun Area.
Saturday night all teams are ‘requested’ to attend the “ Christmas Theme Party”

Sunday Rugby – At 9.00 am last pool games and knock-outs start. These will finish in late afternoon with the finals and award ceremony and farewell party. Fun – The bar is open all day with music and fun, and there will be food available from 10am onwards.
